| | Understand the history of marriage is answering a lot of the mysteries. and leaving me at a loss.
If Marriage for so long was an institution for the purposes of: legal rights, birth rights, property, wealth, blood line.
If sexuality and marriage were not exclusively each others.
And The notion of Romantic love only became emphasized in the institution of marriage in the last few centurys, and has only become a primary requisite in the 1900's.
then why are we marrying?
Christianity built a beautiful delusion for what it claimed it 'should' be. perhaps to recreate meaning.
but as that falls to peices, we have to ask. what was the institution of marriage built for? how has to been used. did God have an intention for it? where does sexuality play a role?
